Hanna

Welcome to Bellingham Memorial School where every day, we do our best and commit to success!

My name is Joshua Hanna, and it is an honor to serve as your principal. With over 25 years of experience in public education as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and principal, I remain deeply committed to creating a school environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their best.

At Bellingham Memorial, our core values of Perseverance, Accountability, Integrity, and Respect guide everything we do. We encourage our students to persevere through challenges, take responsibility for their actions, act with honesty and integrity, and treat themselves and others with respect. These values shape our culture and define what it means to be a part of our school community.

We believe in the power of strong relationships, high expectations, and a shared commitment to student success. Whether you’re a returning family or new to our community, we are excited to partner with you for a successful and enriching school year.

Together, we will continue to build a positive, inclusive environment where all students can thrive and grow into their best selves.

Sincerely, Joshua Hanna Principal

2025–2026 Bellingham Late Bus Stops – Now Posted!

Attention Bellingham Families!

We’re excited to share the 2025–2026 Late Bus Stop Lists for both Bellingham Memorial School and Bellingham High School – Home of the Hawks!

Whether you're on the North side or the South, we've got your after-school transportation covered. These late bus stops help ensure that students who stay after school for extra support or enrichment can still get home safely.

North Late Bus Stops include: Curtis Apartments, Bellwood Condos, The Charles Apartments, Rawson & Sagamore, Farm Street intersections, and more!

South Late Bus Stops include: Fox Run, Chestnut & South Main, Mann Street, Pulaski Blvd, Lake Street, 377 Center, and many more—right down to Douglas Drive near the bus yard!

These stops will go into effect for the 2025–2026 school year. Please review the list carefully and plan accordingly.

Just a reminder: Late buses are available only for students participating in after-school academic activities or school-sponsored clubs.

All other after-school arrangements—such as visits to the public library, going to a friend’s house, or other non-school-related activities—must have alternative transportation arranged ahead of time.

If you have any questions please contact your building Principal or contact me directly at dcutler@bpsdk12.org

Sincerely,
