Principal Message

Dear BMS Families,
What a great first week at Bellingham Memorial School!
There is always a special energy that comes with the beginning of a new school year, and it has been wonderful to see our hallways filled with students learning, reconnecting with friends, meeting new teachers, and settling into their routines. While the first week inevitably comes with a few adjustments and surprises, I am incredibly proud of how our students and staff have embraced the start of the year.
During our class meetings this week, I had the opportunity to spend time with each of our students. We talked about what it means to be part of the BMS community and the importance of living out our core values of Perseverance, Accountability, Integrity, and Respect. We also talked about the kind of school we want BMS to be and the role each of us plays in creating that community.
I wanted to share the slideshow from those meetings with you so that you can get a glimpse into some of the messages we shared with students:
As we head into our second week, I want to thank our families for helping make such a positive start to the school year. Your partnership matters, and we appreciate the support you provide at home each day.
Most importantly, thank you for trusting us with your children. We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to all that we will accomplish together.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Josh

From The Nurse

Welcome back to BMS. Hoping you all had a wonderful summer break.

Just a few reminders:
Students should NOT be transporting medication to school. Medication needs to be dropped off in the original/pharmacy labeled bottle with Doctor's Orders. Parent permission forms can be signed when a parent brings in the medication.

I do NOT have allergy medicine here at school. As we move into fall allergy season, if your child needs allergy medicine, please give it to them at home.

As always, please feel free to reach out with medical concerns.

Thank you!
